May I ask when an automobile became a luxury item, many of the plants that produce automobiles have moved to other states that are doing just fine. I suppose it was Bush that caused about half the auto plants in Michigan to move. I think the problem with Michigan is taxes. Isn't it the job of the Governor to bring new industry and business into the state? Or is that the Fed's job also?

Since this state has no public transportation system I would say calling an automobile a luxury item is a bit off the mark. Ask those that can't afford one. They can't even get to job interviews let alone go to work everyday. The motor capital of the world and thousands struggle to get from point a to b. Maybe the likes of Grandholm and your friends in Washington can raise a few more taxes and we can just give everyone a car.
